Open RFIs are open risk

Every unanswered RFI is a question your field team cannot fully act on. A few are normal. Dozens, aging quietly across multiple jobs, are how crews end up waiting, guessing or doing work twice. General contractors rarely lose track of RFIs because they do not care. They lose track because the log lives in one place, the conversation lives in email, and the follow-up lives in someone's head.

One board for every RFI

Arise Crew puts each RFI on your project board with its number, question, who it is with, the date it was sent and the date you need an answer. The Foreman crew member watches the board and points out what is overdue or about to be. The Surveyor crew member can read your plans and specs so you can check whether an answer already exists in the documents before you send a new question, and review answers when they come back.

Follow-ups in seconds

When an RFI has gone quiet, the Dispatch crew member drafts a short follow-up to the architect or engineer with the RFI number, a one-line summary and the date you need a response. It goes into your approval queue. You review, edit if needed and send it yourself. Nothing leaves without your OK.

Writing RFIs that get answered

Good RFIs get faster answers. Ask one question per RFI. Reference the exact drawing, detail and spec section. Describe the conflict plainly and, when you can, suggest a solution the designer can accept or reject. State the date you need an answer and why, such as the activity it affects. Attach a marked-up sketch or photo when it helps. These habits help no matter what tool you use.

Keep the record clean

A clean RFI log, with sent dates, answer dates and follow-ups, is useful if questions about delays come up later. Because every follow-up you approve is tied to its item on the board, you have a clear trail of when you asked and when you pushed.

How to try it

Arise Crew is in a free founding pilot. You request access, we review every request and reach out to set up a short call, and then we set up your board and switch on your crew. You load a few real projects, with their open items and due dates, and use the crew on your normal work. Use only what you are comfortable sharing, since everything stays in your own private workspace and is never used to train AI models. Paid plans are planned but not live yet. Founding pilots get the setup fee waived when paid plans launch. If it does not save you time, you simply stop using it.

FAQ

Does it work for subcontractors too?

Yes. Subs can track the RFIs they send to the GC the same way.

Will it answer RFIs for me?

No. The crew helps you find relevant spec and plan references and drafts follow-ups. Design answers still come from the design team.

Does it connect to Procore?

Procore integration is planned but not live yet.

How much does it cost?

The founding pilot is free. Planned pricing is on our pricing page and is not live yet.
